Google applications don't follow the Material Design Guidelines
At the time you're reading this article, you're most probably already familiar with Material Design - the design guidelines by Google, the company states it as to being 'universal', yet it's missing in some of Googles applications itself. Most of where this beautiful design is missing is Google's engines. Websites like the Google Wallet are material design-ish, but engines like blogger are not, Google slides, the landing page is stunning but when you get to the engine itself- you run into a design problem We see this problem the most on heavy engines such as blogger, google docs, slides etc. The buttons are using curved surfaces from 2006, and it is one of the worst possible designs we can get in the design world these days.
